Cummer Museum Garden Month Concert

March 11 Spend your Friday night beneath the stars as The Chris Thomas Band takes over the Cummer gardens for a special concert in honor of Garden Month at the museum. Guests are invited to bring chairs, picnics and beverages of choice to enjoy with the show.

21st Annual Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance

March 12 Porsche, McLaren, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Maserati; they’ll all be on the greens this weekend. If that piques your interest, head up to Amelia Island for a weekend of test drives, swanky parties and hundreds of cars, trucks and other automobiles.

GATE River Run

March 12 The largest 15K race in the U.S. is back for another year in the Bold City. Join more than 24,000 runners, joggers and walkers as they tackle the course winding through Downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods of San Marco and St. Nicholas, and finally the Green Monster (aka the Hart Bridge). The race will once again serve as the USA 15K Championship with America’s top Olympic athletes competing for $85,000 in prize money.

Back to the Future with the Jacksonville Symphony

March 12 It’s been 30 years since Marty McFly first traveled through time in Doc Brown’s Delorean. Watch the classic movie with the score played live by the Jacksonville symphony orchestra.

2016 Natural Life Music and Arts Festival

March 13 Slow down and enjoy the little things this weekend with a day of music, art and crafts. Metropolitan Park will be transformed into an indie-folk music experience, with concerts throughout the day, a Crafternoon of activities, an artisan market and an array of food vendors.

Bonus: The Miracle Board’s 2nd Annual Charity Bingo Night

March 14 Come play bingo for a cause as the Miracle Board hosts game night to raise money for Wolfson Children’s Hospital and the pediatric programs at UF Health Jacksonville.
