Force Fest Awakens in Hemming Park

Dec. 11 Celebrate the looming release of the new Star Wars film The Force Awakens with galactic fans of all ages this Friday downtown in Hemming Park. The event will feature a light sword battle at dusk, performances by the Jedi Academy of North Florida, free play gaming by Gather 2 Game, an appearance from artist Carlos Cabaleiro and more.

Stache Dash at EverBank Field

Dec. 11 Don your best Shad Khan-inspired stache and head out to EverBank Field Friday after work for the annual Stache Dash to kick off the home game football weekend. Registration in the race gets you a ticket to the Jaguars vs Colts game on Sunday, an official race shirt, one drink ticket and the chance to race through EverBank Field.

29th Annual Historic Springfield Holiday Home Tour

Dec. 11 and 12 You may have already toured Springfield for the annual Porchfest a few weeks back, but what better excuse to get back out and explore the historic neighborhood than for a festive holiday home tour? The Springfield Improvement Association is hosting a holiday home tour on both Friday and Saturday nights from 5 to 9 p.m.

4th Annual Holidazzle at the Riverside Arts Market
