San Marco

Historic Perks With a Modern Pace of Life

Welcome to San Marco

Just a short drive from downtown, historic San Marco offers riverfront living at a variety of price points and architectural styles to choose from. San Marco Square is the gem of the community, with bookstores, fine dining, an independent movie theatre, trendy boutiques and outdoor cafes; even a speakeasy. Residents work to preserve the area’s character, as well as enjoy its green spaces; the community offers 14 public parks to lounge and play.

The boulevard leading from the river to downtown is undergoing a complete makeover, with wider sidewalks, lush landscaping and easy access to nearby spots like Baptist Medical Center, the Southbank Riverwalk and the Museum of Science and History (MOSH). Stay tuned for more restaurants, shops and growing residential opportunities.

San Marco’s most prevalent home styles are Spanish and Mediterranean, and the San Marco Preservation is constantly throwing community events to raise money to help maintain the homes and common areas.
